I am appalled at how rude and uninterested in working the staff at the Duluth DMV are. A simple lesson in common courtesy would make a massive impact! Two staff (blonde hair and grey hair) ‘helped’ me. They looked at me while continuing to do other work, didn’t say hello, can I help you — nothing, I started telling this blonde haired gal what I was there for — didn’t finish what I had to say, she interrupted me asking for my drivers license, punched info into her computer and stood there saying, I don’t know, I don’t understand — over and over. Still== not a single word to me. Then, she interrupted another staff to ask for help. BOTH of them stood, dumbfounded saying over and over, “I don’t know, I don’t understand, it doesn’t make sense.” Finally, I asked, “What do I need to do to get this taken care of as soon as possible?” Still — no direct answer. I had to ask that question 3-4 times before one responded, “Well, there isn’t currently a title for this car and it’ll take 5 months to get it.” As rudely and uninterested as humanly possible.
More than the inconvenience THEIR incompetence is causing me — I’m FURIOUS that these are PUBLIC OFFICIALS- — PAID by OUR FUNDS!! Could they even pretend to care to be there? Also — it wouldn’t hurt to clean up a bit. Seriously, these staff are wearing ratty old sweatshirts, jeans and flip flops. Staff at gas stations go to work looking better.
