The person helping her was courteous and amiable, but as my wife was asking a few questions, one of the other workers of African-American descent, muttered “if you’d shut your mouth and listen, you’d learn something”. While she didn’t direct it at my wife, it was obvious my wife was the intended target.
I’m used to getting the best service and a courteous reception anytime I do business in your office, but this really upset my wife.
I hope and pray this type of behaviour doesn’t become the norm, as I don’t want this happening to anyone else.
As public servants, please display a professional attitudes all times.
