Hello – my daughter just came from the Alma branch of Secretary of State office and was very upset. She went to get her drivers license renewed since her birthday is tomorrow and was treated very rudely. The woman who waited on her gave her the wrong amount in change and as she walked away this person called her back and said the change amount was not right. She said, “were you trying to run away or something? Did you know and why didn’t you say if it was a wrong amount?” and so on. Besides embarrassing my daughter in front of the people in the room this was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL of her. It is her job to make correct change and she is the public servant here, not the customer. This is the fourth time a family member has been treated to the rude and belligerent attitude at this office. I recommend no one use the Alma branch until they do some employee updates.
